Occupation/Study: Actor / writer / friend / waiter / music fan / introvert / extrovert / whatever. I try my best at everything I do, which is probably why I’ve made so many mistakes in my attempt at life, yet I’m still trying my best at everything I do, and making so many mistakes…
Acting-wise: I went to NYU for three semesters, which cost more than I’ve ever probably made since then. I’ve done an off-broadway show with one of my acting heroes, a few independent films (one where I met my big sister), a web series (where I met my dream goddess/cross-country therapist), a commercial (where I made bank to “nod inquisitively” at Uncle Phil), and a couple promos for various networks… nothing I’d “write home about”, but I wrote home about each and every one of them.
Writing-wise: I’m on the third draft of my first ever FINISHED screenplay (after many failed attempts). It’s at 124 pages, and needs to get down to about 95. it’ll happen. I swear.
Hometown: Hampton, IA: two stop-lights, and a darn good time. Currently living in LIC, NY.
Favorite hangouts: Well, I don’t really go out much, and by that iImean I’m a repeat offender; either I’m working at Westville East, and going to Destination on 13th/A to see my favorite bartenders with my favorite co-workers to hear our favorite juke-box with its catalogue of Jock Jams and Black Keys, or I’m going to Sugarland in the Burg on a Saturday night to be a stage-mom to my big sister as she works the go-go box in her Nike Dunks, tighty-whities, and gold chain. oh! I love Plum on 2nd/10th for their amazing pizza, wait-staff (@mizpauline), and $6 pinot grigio happy hour special.
